Right of withdrawal

1. Personalized jewellery: exception to the right of withdrawal

Article L. 221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code provides that the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

Our jewellery is engraved to order with the text you enter (first names, dates, words) and the options you choose. Where a piece has actually been personalized at your request, it falls within this exception: you cannot return it simply because you changed your mind.

This exception:

• does not remove the legal guarantee of conformity or the legal guarantee against hidden defects;
• does not apply to a piece that is defective, damaged or different from your order;
• does not apply to an engraving error attributable to us (engraved text different from the text in your order confirmation);
• does not cover non-personalized products in the same order.

2. Non-personalized products: 14-day period

For a non-personalized product, you have fourteen days from the day you, or a third party you have designated (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the product to exercise your right of withdrawal, without giving any reason or paying any penalty (article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code). For an order of several products delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last product.

3. How to exercise your right of withdrawal

Inform us of your decision before the period expires, using the form below or any other unambiguous statement:

4. Returning the product

Send the product back without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after telling us of your decision, to the following address: [TO COMPLETE — return address]. Do not send any parcel to another address without our agreement.

Return costs: [TO COMPLETE — "the direct cost of returning the product is paid by you" or "return costs are paid by Chrune"].

You may be liable for any decrease in the value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

5. Refund

We refund all amounts paid, including the original delivery costs, no later than fourteen days from the date we are informed of your decision to withdraw (article L. 221-24 of the French Consumer Code). Additional costs resulting from choosing a delivery method more expensive than the standard method offered are not refunded.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until you have supplied proof of having sent it, whichever is earlier.

The refund is made using the same payment method as for the order, unless you expressly agree to another method, and at no cost to you.

6. Withdrawal form

This form, provided for in the appendix to article R. 221-1 of the French Consumer Code, only concerns non-personalized products.
